Ablution Facility Development Initiative

In Bangladesh, particularly in rural areas, access to adequate washroom and ablution facilities is often severely limited. This lack of infrastructure presents challenges in a predominantly Muslim country where the need for ablution (wudu) is crucial for daily prayers.

To address this pressing issue, the Southern Charity Foundation (SCF) has proactively constructed 252 ablution centers in underserved regions where such facilities are scarce. These centers serve as vital resources for community members, particularly for underprivileged individuals who face significant barriers to accessing proper sanitation.

This initiative has positively impacted approximately 50,400 individuals across 252 communities, ensuring that people have the necessary facilities to maintain hygiene and perform religious practices with dignity. By providing these essential services, SCF not only alleviates daily challenges but also promotes public health and well-being within these communities.

The project underscores SCF’s commitment to addressing critical infrastructure needs and supporting the holistic development of rural and underserved populations, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to community empowerment and public health improvement.

“Wudukhana (Ablution Facility) Installation Project 2026 – A Step Towards Cleanliness, Dignity, and Devotion”
Add Your HeOn March 31, 2026, a Wudukhana (ablution facility) was successfully established at Darul Karim Madrasha Masjid (2025M / 1447H). This meaningful initiative was implemented to support the local community by providing a clean, safe, and accessible space for performing ablution (wudu) before prayers. This project was made possible through the generous contributions of donors, whose names are respectfully displayed on the commemorative plaque. Their kindness and dedication have created a lasting impact, ensuring that students, worshippers, and community members can maintain proper hygiene and spiritual preparation with ease and dignity. The newly constructed facility not only enhances the infrastructure of the madrasha and mosque but also promotes the importance of cleanliness in Islam—an essential part of faith and daily worship. It serves as a valuable resource for young students, helping them practice religious rituals in a proper and comfortable environment. Through this initiative, we continue our mission to uplift communities by improving essential facilities and supporting religious education. This Wudukhana stands as a symbol of compassion, unity, and ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), benefiting countless individuals for years to come. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors and supporters for their continuous generosity and trust in making such impactful projects a reality.ading Text Here
