Winter Relief Clothing Drive
Each winter, the Southern Charity Foundation (SCF) undertakes a crucial initiative aimed at supporting individuals in urgent need by distributing blankets and warm clothing. This effort primarily focuses on vulnerable populations located in urban areas and the northern regions of Bangladesh, where winter conditions can be particularly harsh.
Through this initiative, SCF has successfully provided essential winter gear to 18,152 individuals, significantly alleviating the adverse effects of cold weather. The program not only ensures warmth and comfort during the winter months but also underscores SCF’s commitment to enhancing the well-being of marginalized communities throughout Bangladesh.
By addressing the immediate needs of those affected by severe weather, SCF fosters resilience and dignity among the most vulnerable populations, reinforcing their mission to uplift and empower communities in need.

Southern Charity Foundation (SCF) recently organized its Winter Clothes Distribution Program to support underprivileged families in the cold-affected coastal and rural areas of Satkhira District. The initiative aimed to bring warmth and comfort to vulnerable communities—especially children, elderly people, and day laborers—who struggle during the harsh winter season.
This year, SCF distributed over 500 blankets, sweaters, and warm garments across Gabura, Burigoalini, and Shyamnagar unions, with special attention to disaster-affected and low-income households. The event was carried out in collaboration with local youth volunteers and community-based organizations under SCF’s “Warmth for Humanity” campaign.
During the program, SCF’s Executive Director highlighted the foundation’s continued commitment to humanitarian assistance and social welfare. Local representatives expressed their gratitude to SCF for its ongoing efforts in ensuring that no one is left behind during the winter.
