Ramadan Community Food Empowerment Program

Ramadan is a time of reflection, empathy, and generosity, where communities come together to support one another. In the spirit of giving, Southern Charity Foundation (SCF) has established the Ramadan Community Food Empowerment Program, aimed at providing essential food support to underprivileged families during this holy month. Recognizing the heightened needs of fasting families, SCF ensures that these households have access to nutritious food, enabling them to observe Ramadan with dignity and peace of mind.

Each food package is carefully curated to meet the nutritional requirements of a family, containing:

Rice: 20 kg, Oil: 2 kg, Potatoes: 5 kg, Onions: 5 kg, Sugar: 2 kg, Flour: 5 kg, Noodles: 5 packs, Tang Drink Powder: 500 gm, Chickpeas: 2 kg, Peanuts: 1 kg, Milk Powder: 400 gm, Raisins: 100 gm, Chili Powder: 200 gm, Turmeric Powder: 200 gm, Coriander Powder: 100 gm, Beaten Rice: 2 kg, Puffed Rice: 1 kg, Garlic: 0.5 kg, Dates: 2 kg

This initiative, driven by compassion and community spirit, has so far reached 95,800 individuals across Bangladesh, ensuring that even the most vulnerable families can participate in Ramadan without the burden of food insecurity. Through this program, SCF reinforces the true essence of Ramadan—caring for others and fostering solidarity among communities.

By providing essential food items, SCF not only supports families during this holy month but also strengthens their sense of belonging and well-being. This strategic intervention highlights SCF’s commitment to uplifting the underprivileged and fostering a culture of generosity and empathy.
